Falling in Love – a True Furniture Story
February is the month of love. It is the month where we cherish everything that we love. I have to say, that I love some of our furniture. These are stunningly designed items, carefully crafted, that just fit into my design sensibility. I am sure that we all have this emotional feeling when it comes to our living space and the furniture that we surround ourselves with.
I love Industrial Design, for example. That is why we have expanded our Industrial Designed furniture so broadly in the past year. For example, our new Hunter Living Room Collection made with natural mango and metal hairpin legs. It’s just perfect for my living space – that is why we designed it.
Natural mango, sourced in India, is raw and elemental. It has lots of color variations and a great unfinished look. The hairpin legs are rough, basic and make the items float on their delicate legs. Coupled with a nice Mid-Century couch or chair, these pieces really shine - and accent the room.
I never understood the need for Poufs and then I fell in love. Colorful, funny, quirky and unique - our new Poufs are just so functional. They fill a real need in functional storage and are just great for putting your feet up. They come in some really beautiful fabrics and textures – and are just so darn cute. Every house needs one or two…or twenty. They are great in just about every room in your home.
Anyone could fall in love with our new Metal Drum Side + Coffee Tables. They are a real head-turner. The metal is raw, and shapes are organic and fundamental. They are beautiful in any modern or contemporary home. As a coffee table, they serve as a real focal point for the room. As an end, or side table they can provide practical and mesmerizing solutions to a wide variety of your needs.
Love your furniture this month and embrace your inner spirit.
